Hi! Welcome to Silver and Opals, our "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" roleplay group! We're a generally laid-back group of admins (seriously, we just want to roleplay) but we do have a couple of rules we'd like to lay down.
First and foremost, just be a good member of the community! Be respectful to other roleplayers on the forum. If there is an issue with disrespect the admins will usually issue a warning first, but we reserve the right to remove your account from the forum without warning if there is a serious enough infraction. If you know you'll be unable to respond to posts for several days, a heads-up in the OOC thread would be appreciated, but is not necessary. However, if you are absent for a month or longer and have not given the Admins notice of your absence, we reserve the right to put your characters back up for grabs.
Second, no godmoding. It's pretty straight forward: just don't make other peoples' characters do or say things. Stick to your own character(s) when writing replies and we'll be all good.
Finally, we appreciate relatively good grammar, spelling, etc. but we are an easy-going bunch, so a few mistakes here and there are no big deal.
